What does it really mean to become fluent in German?

In this  episode, I share a recent experience that brought my entire German journey full circle. After attending a beautiful business academy in Germany, I found myself standing in front of a room full of German entrepreneurs, sharing the story behind my podcast. Surprisingly, the nervousness I felt reminded me of the fears I had when I first arrived in Germany—when I wanted nothing more than to disappear into the crowd and avoid speaking.

This episode isn't really about giving a presentation.

It's about reclaiming your voice.

I reflect on how learning German has never just been about grammar, certificates, or speaking perfectly. It's been about finding the confidence to express myself, connect with others, and finally take up space again.

I also leave you with three beautiful German words that have guided me throughout my journey and that I hope will accompany yours too: Selbstbewusstsein, sich trauen, and Mut.

Whether you're just beginning your German journey or you've been living in Germany for years, I hope this episode reminds you that your voice matters—and that you don't need perfect German to deserve to be heard.

🎧 In this episode, you'll discover:

  • Why learning German is really about finding your voice again
  • How to shift from self-doubt to serving others
  • Why people remember your message more than your grammar
  • The mindset that helped me stop feeling invisible and start taking up space
  • Three German words that can encourage you on your own language journey

Remember: You don't have to speak perfect German to belong. Sometimes all it takes is the courage to show up, speak up, and trust that your story is worth sharing.
